Below, meet the cast and creative team of 'Edwin, The Story of Edwin Booth,' a world premiere dramatic musical that commemorates the 150th Anniversary (1866-2016) of the legendary actor's return to the stage, as well as the 400th Anniversary of the birth of William Shakespeare, with music by Marianna Rosett, and book & lyrics by Eric Swanson. 

The winners of the eighth annual NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY AWARDS were determined and announced just last week, at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. This one-of-a-kind-event was hosted by Tony Award®-nominee Zachary Levi, currently starring on Broadway in Roundabout Theatre Company's She Loves Me at Studio 54.

Adirondack Theatre Festival is proud to announce the cast for the world premiere of A COMEDY OF MANORS:  Isabel Keating (Tony-nominated for The Boy From Oz), William Youmans (Bright Star, Wicked), John Wojda (Madam Secretary), Gerry Bamman (The Merchant of Venice), Polly Lee (The Americans), Tara Pacheco, and Rory Kulz (Travels With My Aunt). A COMEDY OF MANORS is directed by Benjamin Kamine (Carlyle at the Goodman Theatre).

This one-of-a-kind-event was hosted by Tony Award-nominee Zachary Levi, currently starring on Broadway in Roundabout Theatre Company's She Loves Me at Studio 54.

The new musical Lisa and Leonardo will be presented at this year's New York Musical Festival. With music by Donya Lane, lyrics by Ed McNamee and book by Donna Lane, Ed McNamee & Michael Unger. Lisa and Leonardo will be directed by Michelle Tattenbaum with musical direction by Robert Frost and choreography by Jonathan Cerullo. The show will begin July 21 and running through July 28 at the Duke on 42nd Street, a NEW 42ND STREET project (229 W 42nd Street). This year, for the first time ever, the pre-event red carpet and the awards presentation will be streamed live on Facebook.

THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY AWARDS have announced the industry coaches for the eighth annual awards ceremony on Monday, June 27th at 7:30PM at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street in Manhattan.

The Pearl Theatre Company is pleased to present the New York premiere of Stupid Fu**ing Bird, Aaron Posner's award-winning wry riff on Anton Chekhov's masterpiece The Seagull. Directed by Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival's Artistic Director Davis McCallum, the production, running through May 8, scoops up Chekhov's tale of unrequited love, missed opportunities, and misplaced dreams and sets it down squarely in the bustle of 21st century life. With its rebellious title evoking Constantine's subversive play-within-a-play from the original, it captures the heartbreaking humor of the tale while playing as brilliantly with dramatic form as Chekhov himself once did.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced today the casting and creative team for the upcoming production of The Invisible Hand, which begins performances in the Stiemke Studio on February 24. Kidnapped investment banker Nick Bright desperately plays the world financial markets from a cell in Pakistan to pay his own ransom. In demonstrating the ideology of free market capitalism, he profoundly alters his relationship with his captors, and his captors' relationship with the world. The Invisible Hand measures one man's will to survive and its profound affect on global politics.

HH Productions, LLC, in association with The York Theatre Company will present a special staged reading of the new musical HOWARD, written by Frank Evans (Book and Lyrics) and James Scully (Music), directed by Jennifer Paulson-Lee, conducted by Jeff Saver and musical supervision/arrangements by Scott Cady.  HOWARD will be presented at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (248 West 60 Street, NYC 10023) on Wednesday, January 27th at 1PM; Thursday, January 28th at 1PM; and Friday, January 29th at 1PM.
