59E59 Theaters will welcome the critically acclaimed IPHIGENIA IN SPLOTT at the 2017 Brits Off Broadway festival.

Several shows in the running for this year's Olivier Awards, announced next Sunday 9 April, are also recognised this week in the third-annual Also Recognised Awards - in some notably different categories.

The cast for the first major revival of Clare McIntyre's Low Level Panic, directed by Chelsea Walker, is Sophie Melville (nominated for the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actress for Iphigenia in Splott), Katherine Pearce (Lyric's Secret Theatre) and Samantha Pearl (Belarus Free Theatre's Tomorrow I Was Always a Lion).

Digital Theatre+ has announced that Sherman Theatre's universally acclaimed and award-winning touring production, Iphigenia in Splott, will be available worldwide on its arts education platform from today 16th of November.

GAME OF THRONES actor Owen Teale will star in director Terry Hands' new production of UNDER MILK WOOD at Birmingham Repertory Theatre from June 2 to 7. The production marks the centenary of Dylan Thomas' birth, as well as the 60th anniversary since UNDER MILK WOOD was first produced in Britain, as a radio play by the BBC, in 1954. A cast of Welsh actors also includes TORCHWOOD actor Kai Owen and Steven Meo (THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS).
