Mannyville LLC, Dramatic Question Theatre and the New York Musical Theatre Festival are proud to announce the extension of the musical Manuel versus The Statue of Liberty which will begin performances this Tuesday, July 21.

On Sunday, June 21, 9:30 pm & Midnight, Broadway Bares is back and sexier than ever. The event will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom located in the Manhattan Center (311 West 34th Street, NYC). BROADWAY BARES is an annual event that consists of an evening of sexy striptease that benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year the event will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a spectacular edition, Broadway Bares: Top Bottoms of Burlesque, a show inspired by the golden age of Broadway.

Mannyville LLC and Dramatic Question Theatre in association with the New York Musical Theatre Festival will present the premiere of Manuel versus The Statue of Liberty with book by Noemi de la Puente, music by David Davila & Howard Post, Lyrics by Noemi de la Puente & David Davila with direction by Jose Zayas, choreography by Sidney Erik Wright and musical direction by Karl Hedrick. The new musical will play at the 2015 NYMF from July 21 -27 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

Bay Street Theater announces the success of its 23rd Annual Summer Gala, chaired by longstanding patrons of the theater and the arts, Christine Wachter-Campbell & Bill Campbell, and Pia & Jimmy Zankel, which took place in Sag Harbor at the Long Wharf last weekend on July 12, 2014 to benefit Bay Street's Scott Schwartz New Directions Fund, which supports a myriad of new programming initiatives and educational offerings. Broadway Bares: Rock Hard!, a luscious, modern-day mix tape of sensual sights and sounds featuring 170 of New York's sexiest dancers, celebrated its move to a new home on June 22 by raising $1,386,105 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The opening number found Matthew Saldivar and Joey Taranto as dads escorting their preteen daughters to a One Direction concert. Longing for the rock concerts of their youth, the pair stepped into a dream world of hard rockers with ripped abs, voluptuous divas and randy roadies. The opening was written by Matthew Sklar and Amanda Green. Director Nick Kenkel, Paula Caselton and Sidney Erik Wright choreographed the number. Check out the full number below!

The Festival premieres 14 new plays, varying from 10 minute to full length productions, over the course of four weekends. Each weekend will contain a different program of plays, beginning May 30th and running to June 23rd. Performances will take place at 8:00pm on Thursday, Today and Saturday, as well as 3:00pm on Sunday.
