For the week ending Jan. 11, THE TALK, featuring new host Carrie Ann Inaba, delivered 2.47 million viewers, its largest weekly audience in almost 10 months – since the week ending March 30, 2018. The Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show also scored a 0.7 in women 25-54, its best number in the demo this season.

Carrie Ann Inaba made her official debut today on THE TALK, joining Eve, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood. Inaba replaces Julie Chen, the wife of ousted CBS CEO Les Moonves.

Variety reports that Carrie Ann Inaba will assume Julie Chen's chair on “The Talk.” She will join the show in January.

Multi-platinum entertainer Sara Evans will guest cohost on "The Talk" next week, joining hosts Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Eve for the live talk show airing Tuesday, November 13 at 2pm ET / 1pm CT on CBS. The appearance takes place weeks before the return of Evans' popular, limited-engagement "At Christmas Tour," with festive shows created to get fans of all ages into the spirit of the season. The tour kicks off November 24 in Cincinnati, Ohio with special guests Fairground Saints.

Although “Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez was without her engagement ring today, admitting, “I totally forgot [it],” she tells “The Talk” hosts she is jumping into wedding planning. 'As of this Sunday, I feel like we are going to elope, it is so much drama. There was a point where I was like everyone arrange it and I'll just show up... I just want to say 'I do'... and then I started hearing about how everything you do is offensive.' Host Sara Gilbert responds, 'It's your day, you just do what you want.”

Kaley Cuoco spills details about the final season of “The Big Bang Theory” and shares set secrets she'd like revealed, 'I'd like to learn Penny's last name, it's never fair... “It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star Danny DeVito gives one of his biggest fans, Allison Closs, a big surprise on “The Talk” Thursday! The Pennsylvania high school student, who took a cardboard cutout of DeVito to prom, appears on the show Thursday. She thinks her segment is about her prom story that made national news, but gets a big surprise when DeVito enters the stage to meet her in person. “I think this was my first prom and thank you very much for inviting me,” DeVito tells Closs. Sharon Osbourne asks her, “What is it like to meet the real Danny DeVito?” Closs replies, “Amazing, fantastic! I never expected…as a little joke, taking a little cardboard cut out to prom, that it would lead to this!”

The cast of “L.A. Law” reunites on “The Talk” for the first time in nearly 25 years. Actor Harry Hamlin discusses the show earning four Emmy Awards for Best Drama, and shares what the cast was gifted when they won the second time. 'They were pretty cheap, in fact, and I can prove it. We won the Emmy for Best Drama four times, now, today when you win an Emmy for Best Drama the actors usually get a lot of accolades, the studio really appreciates them. For our second Emmy this is what we got [holds up a silver engraved keychain]. It didn't come with the key; it just was the keychain! Nowadays when you win the Emmy for Best Drama, you get the car too.'

“Predator” star Olivia Munn visits “The Talk” Thursday and praises Paige Carnes, the former Jane Doe who spoke out today about being victimized by actor Steven Wilder Striegel when she was 14 years old. “I'm blown away, honestly, so eloquent, so brave. The title 'Jane Doe' is there to protect victims, especially minors...when she said my name is Paige Carnes, former Jane Doe, that just, I mean, that just broke me because I just thought what she has been through to get to this place, and I'm so proud of her and she should be so proud of herself.” Munn adds, “That won't just cause ripples it will be waves that will last for so long with other victims and survivors who want to speak out.'
