ROCK THE AUDITION - IN CONCERT, created and performed by Sheri Sanders, is set to make its world premiere at the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) for three performances only: October 11th, 12th and 13th at TBG Theater, 312 West 36th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Ave.)

Award-winning composer/lyricist Bobby Cronin's new musical Daybreak, produced by NealB.tv and the LGBT Center, will be presented on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 7pm at New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in Manhattan. All proceeds from this one night only event will benefit the LGBT Center.

NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation Competition is returning for its sixth year and will take place at New World Stages on three subsequent Saturdays - September 17th, September 24th, and October 1st.

The hit series is back in September with three more stars of Broadway. Created by Joseph Macchia this monthly series features some of the most talented Broadway performers as well as some future Broadway stars. On September 12th at 7:00 PM the series returns to the beautiful Metropolitan Room. Doors open at 6:30 PM Showtime is 7:00 PM. There is a $20 Cover Charge and 2 Beverage Minimum. Award winning composer/lyricist Bobby Cronin, who has been hard at work writing all year, will present a night of new songs from his musicals: W2ML (Welcome to My Life) book by Alicia Dempster, DAYBREAK, 'TIL DEATH DO US PART book by Allen Mogol, and CYRANA book by Crystal Skillman.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced a full slate of musical productions, a developmental reading series and special events for their eighth annual festival. This year's Festival will begin September 26th and continue through October 16th.

The American Songbook Project will launch a new program called 'The Art of Song Performance,' a workshop on July 10th-15th, 2011, in New York City. The summer intensive features classes in all styles of song performance, including Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and contemporary rock songs, taught by a host of luminaries from the theatre and cabaret community.
