The LGBT Center and NealB.tv present award-winning composer/lyricist Bobby Cronin's musical Daybreak.

Johanna Pinzler, award-winning director (San Francisco Critics Award, Best Director Spelling Bee) will direct a cast that includes: E. Clayton Cornelious (The Scottsboro Boys,Wonderland), Raymond J. Lee (Anything Goes), Sheri Sanders (Rock The Audition), LaQuet Sharnell (Lysistrata Jones, Memphis).

William Demaniow will serve as musical director with Maria Pendolino as stage manager.

Daybreak, "...tells the story of the troubled relationship pf Dylan Ryan, a 40-year old painter and his wife Rebecca, a nearing 40s housewife who hides behind her humor. The issue with their marriage? Dylan likes to sleep with men, "on the down low". As the couple moves into Dyaln's childhood home in San Francisco, the story of Dylan's parents unfold as the memories haunt the old house."

Cronin wrote the words & music for Daybreak, which is slated for a UK production in the spring of 2012, and is a finalist in the 8th Annual NJ Playwrights Contest. He is the composer/lyricist and co-book writer (with Alicia Dempster) of the Broadway-aimed rock musicalW2ML (Welcome to My Life), and composer/lyricist of Til Death Do Us Part with book writer Allen Mogol. He was awarded Outstanding Music & Lyrics for his contributions Ten Reasons I Won't Go Home With You, and Outstanding Original Score for a Mockumentary for the web series Thank You, Next at the LAWebFest.

Cronin is honored to be penning a song-cycle this spring in the UK for the 2012 ArtsEd graduating class. Cronin is a graduate of Yale University, a member of ASCAP and The Dramatists Guild.
