Wednesday, January 27th- NewFilmmakers presents a Special Program from Third World Newreel and then films about filmmaking.

Today, arts representatives/members from Manhattan Community Boards met with Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, and their respective Community Board Chairs to discuss innovative solutions to remedy the current fiscal and real estate crises that are endangering small to mid-sized non-profit theaters and other performing arts organizations throughout New York City.

The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation presents the findings of 'Demographic Study of Off-Off-Broadway Practitioners'. The study, conducted during September 2007 through February 2009, recorded and analyzed the specific population characteristics of the artists working in New York's Off-Off-Broadway theatre sector.

On July 20, 2009, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, celebrated it?s fifth birthday and announced the 2009 nominees at its annual sold-out event at the Carmine Street Recreation Center located at 25 Carmine Street.

The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation presents the findings of the ?Report on Off-Off-Broadway Performance Venues. The 5-year study evaluated where Off-Off-Broadway (OOB) productions are being performed and trends in regards to performance venues from neighborhood to neighborhood.
