But that is exactly what happens in Arts Center of Cannon County's current 2108 mainstage season finale of Hello, Dolly!, the Jerry Herman classic now onstage in Woodbury through November 18.

At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 12, 2018. This was the third year the awards have been presented to honor and celebrate the excellence and diversity of theatre in the greater Berkshire region.

Rubicon Theatre Producing Artistic Director KARYL LYNN BURNS today announced programming for the company's JANET AND MARK L. GOLDENSON 2018-2019 Broadway Concert Series. According to Burns, the series offers an opportunity for audiences to enjoy the talents and personal stories and insights of some of the best and brightest concert and cabaret stars of the West End, Broadway and the West Coast.

Pontiac Theatre IV will open its 2018/2019 season on October 26th with THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, live on stage! Directed by Steven Cunningham (Clarkston), choreographed by Sharon Heltsley (Waterford), and music directed by Richard Alder (Westland), The Rocky Horror Show plays Fridays and Todays from October 26th to November 10th at 8pm at Pontiac High School.

Totem Pole Playhouse, America's beloved summer theatre located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, has announced the opening of the Totem Pole Playhouse Academy. The new performing arts training center will be housed in the Playhouse's recently renovated rehearsal space named after Totem Pole's former Artistic Producer and Directors, Carl Schurr and Wil Love.

Multi-platinum entertainer Sara Evans will guest cohost on "The Talk" next week, joining hosts Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Eve for the live talk show airing Tuesday, November 13 at 2pm ET / 1pm CT on CBS. The appearance takes place weeks before the return of Evans' popular, limited-engagement "At Christmas Tour," with festive shows created to get fans of all ages into the spirit of the season. The tour kicks off November 24 in Cincinnati, Ohio with special guests Fairground Saints.

"Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play," written by Anne Washburn and directed by Kyle Cooper, features a group of survivors after the collapse of civilization. The survivors surround a campfire and reminisce about the plot of an episode of "The Simpsons" television show titled "Cape Feare." The production runs November 9-December 2, 2018 in the Young Theatre on campus with Musical Direction by Craig Shields and Choreography by Angeline Mirenda.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), the theatrical union that unites, empowers and protects professional stage directors and choreographers throughout the United States, announced the election of four officers and two new members of the Executive Board at Monday's Annual Membership Meeting. In addition, Sharon Ott received the annual President's Award for service to SDC.

Caroline, or Change is headed to the West End's Playhouse Theatre, led by Olivier Award-winning actress Sharon D. Clarke in a critically acclaimed virtuoso performance. Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

Prepare Ye for the Broadway hit! Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre is proud to present the Tony-nominated musical GODSPELL, Directed by Casey Garritano with Choreography by Miss Care'n Chato and Musical Direction by Diane King Vann.

Based on Joseph Moncure March's 1928 poem, the musical 'The Wild Party' will come to the stage at Western Connecticut State University for the first two weekends of November. Presented by the WCSU Department of Theatre Arts, the first round of performances will be at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9; at 2 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11. The following weekend, performances will be at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16; at 2 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17; and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18.

Official casting has been announced for the Broadway premiere of Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations. Also announced today are the ticket on-sale dates for the Broadway production.
