Pontiac Theatre IV will open its 2018/2019 season on October 26th with THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, live on stage! Directed by Steven Cunningham (Clarkston), choreographed by Sharon Heltsley (Waterford), and music directed by Richard Alder (Westland), The Rocky Horror Show plays Todays and Saturdays from October 26th to November 10th at 8pm at Pontiac High School.

TimeLine Theatre Company announces members of the cast and creative team for Master Class, Terrence McNally's Tony Award-winning play about the formidable opera star Maria Callas, inspired by a series of classes she taught at Julliard in the 1970s.

Featuring a lively cast of dozens, delightful music, gorgeous costumes, and those deliciously spooky ghosts, the Bay Area's favorite holiday tradition returns as American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) presents its celebrated production of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. Now in the theater's 42nd year of presenting the holiday classic, this version of A Christmas Carol-adapted by Paul Walsh and Carey Perloff-stays true to the heart of Dickens's timeless story of redemption and brings a playful sensibility to his rich language. A Christmas Carol runs December 6-29, 2018, at A.C.T.'s Geary Theater (415 Geary Street, San Francisco). Press night is Wednesday, December 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets (ranging in price from $10-$120) are available by calling the A.C.T. According to Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail, Tony nominated director Marianne Elliott will direct Arthur Miller's timeless drama, Death of a Salesman, in a production aiming for a May 2019 bow on the West End. 

Theatre Royal, Glasgow is to hold a Dementia Friendly performance of Still Alice next month as part of the venue's ongoing commitment to providing an accessible theatre environment.

Let's do the time warp again at Music Mountain Theatre! The Rocky Horror Show is back - for just THREE performances. One fateful night, Brad Majors and his fiance, Janet Weiss, innocently set out to visit an old professor. A thunderstorm and a flat-tire force them to seek help at the castle of Dr. Frank 'N' Furter, an alien, transvestite scientist with a manic genius and an insatiable libido. A loving homage to the classic B Sci-Fi film and horror genres with an irresistible rock'n'roll score, The Rocky Horror Show is a hilarious, wild ride that no audience will soon forget.

For the first time since its 1996 debut, OZZFEST--the annual musical event that celebrates hard rock and heavy metal--has created a special one-night-only New Year's Eve celebration to ring in 2019. Set for Monday, December 31 at The Forumin Los Angeles, the event features headliner OZZY OSBOURNE and a line-up of some of the greatest names in rock (and OZZFEST alumni): Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, and Jonathan Davis (of Korn), along with the OZZFEST debut of Body Count featuring Ice-T. The New Year's Eve party will include an outdoor stage, along with other holiday festivities, details of which will be announced in the coming weeks. The evening will conclude with OSBOURNE onstage counting down to the new year!

Here's an odd couple for you. Warm, inviting, trusting Midwesterner Sharon (Linda Powell) and shadowy, cautious, tough-as-nails Robyn (Tasha Lawrence), whose last known residence was The Bronx. One suspects that Sharon, a 50something divorcee could use some extra money and, perhaps, some company. Robyn, also a divorcee and now self-proclaimed lesbian, needs some space from her shady past. Both have varying estranged relationships with their children (voiceovers by Isaac Bloodworth as Sharon's son and Moira Malone as Robyn's daughter).

Last night in Nashville, Tennessee, music legend Ricky Skaggs officially became one of the newest members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. At the official Medallion Ceremony held in the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum's CMA Theatre, Hall of Fame member Garth Brooks, through tear-filled eyes, formally inducted his musical mentor into the historic institution.

PREMIERES (Paulette Haupt, Artistic Director), the New York based music theater organization whose mission is "to bring new music theater to light," is pleased to announce the cast and creative teams for this season's INNER VOICES, the biennial series of solo works featuring new teams of playwrights and composers. HIV Experience Resources Organization (HERO)is proud to present The Fifth Annual Broadway & Ballet HERO Awards on October 22nd at 8pm at Stage 48, 605 West 48th Street, honoring Tony, Emmy, Drama Desk and People's Choice Award winner Lillias White, Housing Works/HIV Law Project,and break-out star from Head Over Heels,Bonnie Milliganfor Outstanding Broadway Debut. The event benefits HERO - HIV Experience Resources Organization, a 501c-3 volunteer based charitable organization that promotes safe sex practices and provides resources to people newly diagnosed and living with HIV. To be hosted by Ben Cameron, the Broadway and Ballet HERO Awards features 14 spectacular performances by stars from the worlds of Broadway and Ballet that will perform together.
