Open Space Arts will extend the run of its Chicago Premiere of DORIAN, by by one week, adding three performances. Open Space Arts' DORIAN is directed by 20-year veteran Chicago director, actor, and playwright Aaron Holland.
Open Space Arts will present the Chicago premiere of DORIAN, a modern remix of The Picture of Dorian Gray fused with Oscar Wilde’s prosecution for homosexuality. Running November 28–December 14, the intimate production will be directed by Aaron Holland and staged in the company’s Uptown theater.
Conceptualized and executive produced by Andy Lynn, this FREE one-day-only streaming event, with its heart in Chicago, stretches from coast to coast featuring artists, educators, streamers and mental health professionals from across the United States. Chicago locals include Echaka Agba, Breon Arzell, Micah Beauvais, Tyler Brown, Darby Fitzsimons, Tyler Gabrielle, Tina El Gamal, Tommy Malouf, Taylor Raye, Shane Richlan, Amaya Thompson, Shalyn Welch, Wanese Zarour, Martin Yousif Zebari and others. Additional performers include Annelyse Ahmad, Mark Jacob Chaitin, Jeremy Guyton, Kevin O'Connell and Sheldon White.

Brown Paper Box Co. is thrilled to announce their upcoming cabaret event, hosted by company member, Kristi Szczepanek*. This is the first occasion that the company has announced their season in full, and they are excited to do so. This cabaret will feature performers, some of which are members of Brown Paper Box Co. and some that are not! Kristi Szczepanek* first worked with the company as the female understudy in NOW. HERE.
