Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, will host New York Times best-selling and National Book Award-winning author Jonathan Franzen following the 7PM performance of House for Sale, by Franzen, adapted for the stage and directed by Daniel Fish,on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project. Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III will moderate a discussion with Franzen and Fish, followed by an audience Q & A.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company welcomes the Theatre de l'Atelier's production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, directed by John Malkovich, to Washington, D.C. This French-revival stageplay, presented with English surtitles and adapted to a 21st century setting, runs from December 6-9, 2012 in the Company's Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street, NW).

Artistic Director Daniel Evans today unveils Sheffield Theatres' spring season for 2013, which includes two world premieres - Bull, a new play by Mike Bartlett, and This Is My Family, a new musical comedy by Tim Firth; major revivals of D.H. Lawrence's masterpiece The Daughter-in-Law and Alan Bennett's The History Boys, and Sheffield People's Theatre present their second production, 20 Tiny Plays about Sheffield. Full casting for My Fair Lady, the Crucible Christmas musical is also announced today.

THE ASTORIA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (APAC) has announced the New York premiere production of Gregory S. Moss's (punkplay, House of Gold) BILLY WITCH, choreographed by Wendy Seyb (The Pee Wee Herman Show, Yeast Nation), with original music by Nathan A. Roberts, musical direction by Brenna Sage and directed by Erik Pearson (Billy Witch, Studio 42). BILLY WITCH will play a limited engagement at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (30-44 Crescent St, Astoria, NY. Entrance on 30th Road.) Performances begin tonight, November 1 and continue through Saturday, November 17. Opening Night is Saturday, November 3 (8 p.m.).

Yale Repertory Theatre, in a co-production with American Repertory Theater, presents the world premiere of Marie Antoinette by David Adjmi, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Marie Antoinette will be performed at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) October 26 through November 17. Opening Night is Thursday, November 1. Ford's Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault and Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer today announced that Tony-nominated actress Nancy Opel (Broadway's "Memphis," "Urinetown," "Teddy & Alice," "Sunday in the Park with George," "Anything Goes," others) and Edward Gero ("King Lear" with Stacey Keach for Goodman and Shakespeare Theatre Company; Ford's "A Christmas Carol"; Goodman and Arena Stage's "Red") will star in the spring production of "Hello, Dolly!" at Ford's Theatre (511 10th Street NW). The production will be directed by Schaeffer and co-produced by Ford's Theatre and Virginia's Tony-winning Signature Theatre. The production will play from March 15 through May 18, 2013. Additional casting will be announced in early 2013.
