Next week, 54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Festival of Cinema NYC will return for its 6th year, as a live in-person 10-day event, August 5 - August 14. Taking place at the Regal UA Midway theater in Forest Hills, Queens, FOC NYC will showcase 124 independent films from more than 25 countries, with over 90 anticipated filmmakers to be in attendance.

Jeff Kready has announced that he will temporarily be taking over the role of David in Company on Broadway, from July 5-24. He will be playing the onstage husband of his real-life wife, Nikki Renee Daniels, who plays the role of Jenny.

Blue Mountain Gallery will be exhibiting In the Field, Landscapes and BallParks, July 12th-30th. The realist paintings by Max Mason celebrate a variety of landscapes, light and subjects that are close to his heart.

Tresor (Treasure) is Gwenno Saunders’ third full length solo album and the second almost entirely in Cornish (Kernewek). Written in St. Ives, Cornwall, just prior to the Covid lockdowns of 2020 and completed at home in Cardiff during the pandemic along with her co-producer and musical collaborator, Rhys Edwards.

The Tony-award-winning musical, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, based on a Caribbean interpretation of Hans Christian Anderson’s, The Little Mermaid, will come to the Baxter Flipside for a short season from 8 to 16 July 2022 at 7pm with matinees at 2pm.

The film was inspired by the director’s own experiences of searching for her biological dad and the film is set in London’s East End, on the exact same street, where she found him. After an already impressive run on the festival circuit, this must-see film will screen at the Oscar-qualifying Indyshorts Film Festival.

After a two year hiatus, Music Theatre Wichita is FINALLY back in the Century II Concert Hall and Wichita Theatregoers couldn’t be happier! There was no better way to celebrate the return than an incredible performance of 42nd Street! I’m sad the show didn’t run another week, and sadder still if you didn’t get to see it. For those who did, it was nothing short of magnificent!

Independent producer, director and actor Adam Kern will present a production of KRAPP’S LAST TAPE, by Samuel Beckett. The Production will play at The Studio at 2+U, an 1,100 sq. ft. workshop and presentation space in downtown Seattle.

Now, its musical adaptation takes over the Palladium in a grand spectacle directed and choreographed by Matt West. It’s big, it’s theatrical, it’s magical.
