Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Aleksandar Vass and Vass Theatre Group are excited to announce the Broadway and West End hit BAD JEWS will have its Sydney premiere at the Everest Theatre at the Seymour Centre in May. The all-Australian production of BAD JEWS which enjoyed a sellout season in Melbourne last year, will play from tonight 18 May - 4 June.
The Broadway composer Cy Coleman is completely underrated. His range of musicals stretch from traditional musical (Little Me) to 60's pop (Sweet Charity) to comic operetta (On The Twentieth Century). His greatest triumph is the hard jazz / film noire musical City of Angels. On Saturday night, the DC area professional premier opened at NextStop Theatre in Herndon, Virginia.

The People Movers, known for creating and producing socially, politically, and culturally relevant works, announce the sixth chapter of CRAWL, a multi-disciplinary, nomadic arts presenting series, now in its second year. On May 13 and 14, 2016, the sixth chapter of the series will take place at Livestream Public in Brooklyn at 7:30 p.m. The evening will feature performances by dancers Jordan Isadore and Chafin Seymour, and an electric soundscape by music artist Myles Avery.
