Making It On Broadway is headed around the world this summer to offer exceptional intensive training to students of all ages with big dreams! Making It On Broadway is a world-renowned musical theatre training program where students explore the realities of what it means to be a modern Broadway professional. Participating in classes taught only by current Broadway professionals, students have the opportunity to work with and perform for these pros from every aspect of the business including casting directors, agents, Broadway stars, Tony winners, directors, conductors, producers, and Broadway composers!

Anne Adams' STRANGE COUNTRY to Begin Performances in July at Access Theater

New Light Theater Project and Access Theater will present STRANGE COUNTRY by award-winning playwright Anne Adams. Winner of the New Light New Voices award, it will be directed by Jay Stull (Utility, Rantoul and Die). Previews begin July 21st at Access Theater with opening slated for July 24.

The Old Globe Celebrates Tour of Shakespeare's First Folio Beginning Today

The Old Globe and the San Diego Public Library were selected last year to co-host the only stop in California for FIRST FOLIO! THE BOOK THAT GAVE US SHAKESPEARE, on tour from the Folger Shakespeare Library, a national traveling exhibition organized by the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.

The Friday 5: SPELLING BEE's Myers and Pendergrast

Opening tonight at Franklin's Pull-Tight Playhouse is the ever-popular The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, directed by Brett Myers (who last year starred as Vice Principal Panch in Circle Players' production of the show) and starring Benjamin Pendergrast, who takes on the role of Panch in this production. Find out what makes these two talented men tick - why do they think you should come see their show - and then try to score some tickets as quickly as possible.

The Friday 5 (On Thursday): PSYCHO BEACH PARTY's Pitts and Turner

The summer theater season in Nashville begins tonight with a revival of Charles Busch's Psycho Beach Party, which turns the formulaic beach movie of the early 1960s on its ear with a skewed and definitely crazy take on the genre. Opening at the Darkhorse Theater - the latest offering from Bradley Moore's Music City Theatre Company - it features a talented cast bringing Busch's classically campy characters to life. Today, you can get to know Gerald Pitts and Elizabeth Turner better, just before calling to make reservations to see the show!

STAGE TUBE: ALADDIN's Adam Jacobs Stays 'One Jump Ahead' in New Music Video!

Aladdin, Disney's hit Broadway musical, recently released a new music video featuring Adam Jacobs (Aladdin) performing a one-man version of "One Jump Ahead" from the show. In the arrangement made exclusively for Jacobs' debut solo album, "Right Where I Belong - Songs of Alan Menken," Jacobs voices multiple characters, each playfully brought to life in the vibrant new video.

LADIES IN WAITING: THE JUDGEMENT OF HENRY VIII Set for Edinburgh Fringe

Performing at theSpace on the Mile (5- 27 August), LADIES IN WAITING is a sexy, heartbreaking, humorous, and dark exploration of Henry VIII and his relationships with the women in his life… with a feminist twist. 

Main Street Theater Sets 2016-17 Season

Main Street Theater's (MST) 2016 - 2017 Season will be a groundbreaking season for the veteran company, featuring the theatrical event of Wolf Hall, numerous regional premieres, a poignant look at what the world looks like to a child on the spectrum, and MST's first performances with accommodations for children with learning differences. 

American Blues Theater Extends LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Through July

Due to overwhelming demand, American Blues Theater has again extended Little Shop of Horrors, the comedic rock musical with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken, directed by Jonathan Berry, and music direction by Ensemble member Austin Cook. Little Shop of Horrors now runs through July 31, 2016 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Tickets to Little Shop of Horrors extension (July 1-31) are on sale Monday, May 31 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased by phone at 773-404-7336 or online at www.americanbluestheater.com.  Tickets for the regular run are on sale now.

Austin Pendleton to Direct Mint Theater's A DAY BY THE SEA at Theatre Row

Coming up next for Mint Theater Company (Jonathan Bank, Producing Artistic Director; Jen Soloway, Managing Director) will be the first ever New York revival of A Day by the Sea by N.C. Hunter, directed by Austin Pendleton. This will be the Mint's first production as a resident theater company at Theatre Row. Performances will begin July 22nd and continue through September 24th at their new home at the Beckett Theater at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer Avenues). Opening Night is set for August 25th.

COCK Opens 6/16 at WHAT

 Called a "pugilistic, punch-drunk comedy" (DC Theatre Scene) and "A terrific comedy with an unprintable name" (New York Times), Mike Bartlett's Cock opens at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater June 16. The cast of Cock is Nicholas Carter, Lee Seymour, Madeleine Lambert and Christopher Chisholm, directed by Jeffry George.
