Little Shop of Horrors plays now through November 11.  It is an enjoyable night of community theater

The Emanon Players of Absegami High School will be presenting the musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors on Thursday, November 1st and Friday, November 2nd at 6:30 PM and today, November 3rd at 2:00 PM. Originally based on the B-Movie horror film of the 1960s, Little Shop of Horrors is a deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical which has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

Following two weeks of sold out previews, The Bloody Deed of 1857 opens tonight at the landmark Colonnade Row for an open ended run. The new play is based on the actual murder of Dr. Harvey Burdell on January 30, 1857 on nearby Bond Street. The scandalous crime captivated the city, filling the columns of every newspaper for months because all evidence pointed at his rejected lover, a devoted mother and conniving widow named Emma Cunningham. But the jury didn't believe a woman could commit such a violent act. Officially, the case remains unsolved, leaving restless ghosts behind to sort through the truth for eternity.

Another kitten has joined the litter! According to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, the Royal Ballet principal dancer Francesca Hayward will reportedly play Victoria in the upcoming film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats.

The Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHoF) has announced some of the very special presenters who will help induct the 2018 class during a red-carpet gala and ceremony taking place November 8, 2018 at The Space at Westbury (250 Post Avenue, Westbury, New York). Presenters this year include six-time Grammy Award winner Billy Joel, VP of Columbia Records and the man who signed Michael Jackson - Ron Alexenburg, Senior Director of Music Programming at SIRIUSXM - Lou Simon, The Cowsills, Chuck D & DJ Chuck Chillout, Jackie (Jokeman) Martling, and Live Nation Promoter Christian McKnight, with more to be confirmed.

With just one day until soul icon Dionne Warwick's Australian and New Zealand tour kicks off in Perth, Frontier Touring and Arena Touring are delighted to announce the local talent joining the five-time GRAMMY® award winner on stage.  The show moves to Adelaide this Saturday and Melbourne on Sunday, before a very special appearance by Ms Warwick at Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, Sydney and Gold Coast follow next week before the tour crosses to Christchurch.

The Lebanon Community Theatre (LCT) Board of Directors is pleased to announce its spooky fall musical production of Little Shop of Horrors. LCT's take on the rock musical opens on Halloween night, October 31, 2018 at the barn at Stoever's Dam Park in Lebanon. Weekday tickets are $15 for students and $20 for adults, and weekend performances are $18 for students and $22 for adults.

When it comes to Halloween season musicals, few are as appropriate as LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS - an ever growing plant with a taste for human blood, a sadistic dentist, and the potential loss of everything you've ever dreamed of? There's plenty to feel uneasy about. Fortunately the show balances out the potential terror with a sizeable dose of charm and humor, both ably represented in the Contemporary Theater Company's (CTC) production of Little Shop, playing through November 18th at their space in downtown Wakefield, Rhode Island.

In one of their most inspiring interviews to date, Behind the Curtain sits down with one of Broadway's most respected artists, Daphne Rubin-Vega, to discuss not only her career in such shows as Rent, Miss You Like Hell, A Streetcar Named Desire, Les Miserables, and more, but to spotlight the role of diversity and politics in the creation of art.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' semi-staged concert production of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's Little Shop of Horrors, helmed by director Mark Brokaw (Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella) is now on stage.

The stars of the Australian production of Les Miserables will reunite at the Seymour Centre to present Epiphanies, a charity concert supporting research into mental illness, on 27th October.

After a sold-out workshop run in March, Paranormal History Productions returns to Colonnade Row with an official limited run of The Bloody Deed of 1857 for the autumn season. The immersive 90 minute play is an adaptation of news accounts which reported the breathless daily developments about a sensational murder that took place on nearby Bond Street. Elise Gainer, author of Ghosts and Murders of Manhattan, credits the nearby Merchant's House Museum with the idea to turn this true-life murder into a play. The work was selected as the featured piece in the Tectonic Theatre Project's Advanced Moment Work Master Class with Moises Kaufman in May 2017. Ken Davenport, the veteran Broadway producer, consulted on this unique immersive experience including script and overall project development.

All things considered, this presentation offers a fabulous time at the theater.
