Acclaimed songwriter Donovan Woods will release his seventh studio album, Things Were Never Good If They’re Not Good Now, due July 12 via End Times Music. Now he shares the record’s latest single, the breezy “116 West Main, Durham, NC.” Woods will kick off a run of Australian live dates next week, before returning to Canada for summer festival season. Hot on the trail of a new brood of evil Mogwai, our heroes journey deep into the American West, coming up against new supernatural creatures and picking up a few mysterious characters along the way.
This review would be awkwardly short but it's extremely difficult to put the feeling into words as this performance shows us how powerful the musical experience can be. I loved of course the lyrics, the plot, the characters, but, oh well, the music here is second to none. Period.
