William Roesch Named Associate Artist of The Old Globe

Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto named William Roesch an Associate Artist of The Old Globe at a ceremony held on May 24. He is the 53rd artist to receive the prestigious honor which recognizes his unique contribution to the institution. Roesch both directed and acted at the Globe for more than 20 years and served as Associate Artistic Director from 1962 to 1969.

In this hard-working, admirable revival directed by Seret Scott, Wilson's character study of a broken, flawed man and the people that envelope him, is fiercely grounded with raw, irrational emotions, which force the kind of remarkable, impassioned performances that only a cast this seasoned can deliver effortlessly-most notably Robinson, Jennings and Bates.
