With their winning combination of fresh exuberance and astonishing athleticism, the 18 outstanding young dancers of NDT 2, the second company of Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT), are back in the UK and Ireland for the first time since 2016 with a triple bill by German, Dutch and Swedish choreographers.

COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world, will make its West Palm Beach debut at Kravis Center for a limited engagement November 16 - 21. COME FROM AWAY will go on sale October 2 at 10 am.

Boston Ballet II and Boston Ballet School Post Graduate students will return to Stowe for a mini-residency featuring a variety of classes for all levels with Boston Ballet II Associate Director Peter Stark and a performance of A Suite from The Nutcracker at Spruce Peak Arts on Saturday, November 6 at 7 pm.

Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen announces the 2021–2022 season roster. After successfully employing the full Company of dancers during the 2020–2021 virtual season, this season a total of 63 dancers comprise the Company roster, with 51 in the main company and 12 in Boston Ballet II (BBII), Boston Ballet's second company. 

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University announced today the creative team and company of artists for the live premiere of Ayodele Casel: Chasing Magic. Tickets are on sale for The New York Times Critic's Pick featuring Casel and an ensemble of dancers and musicians and directed by Torya Beard.  

This was the second Company to perform in The Brand Associates/Glendale Library Dance Series that has been absent during the pandemic, and it is thrilling that it now is back!! The Versa-Style Dance Company brings a new element to the mix of dance styles and appearances from former years, although they have performed in this series in the past. With a unique urban vibe, funky and down-into it and a free-form mix of styles... by that, I mean more improvisational, than say ballet or jazz. It gives you a free, uplifting and joyous feeling and is very infectious.

Kansas City Ballet Artistic Director Devon Carney today announced the company’s 2021-2022 season, which opens with a mixed repertoire featuring Lila York’s Celts celebrating movement and music, continues with Michael Pink’s mesmerizing Dracula, and concludes with Septime Webre’s return of The Wizard of Oz.

Tulsa Ballet will kick off its 2021-22 season this fall with Creations In Studio K, running September 8-19, 2021 in Studio K.

The debut performance of the UK's first Hip Hop apprentice dance company takes place this April. The five young dancers of the Just Us Hip Hop Apprentice Co. will perform works created by some of Hip Hop's most exciting names - Shawn Aimey, Tali 'Shannelle' Fergus, Kenrick Sandy and Joseph Toonga.

Following news of Birmingham's Tier 3 status last week, and ongoing uncertainty about what will be possible post 16 December, Birmingham Royal Ballet has taken the difficult decision to move their 2020 adapted version of The Nutcracker online.

New York City Ballet today announced that it will be unable to perform at the David H. Koch Theater during the winter and spring of 2021 due to continuing health concerns and mandatory New York State and New York City regulations prohibiting large-scale, live indoor gatherings which are required for both NYCB's rehearsals and performances.

Pacific Northwest Ballet is honored to announce the receipt of a million-dollar gift from the Friday Foundation. With this gift – designated to the Pacific Northwest Ballet Foundation – PNB has created a new endowment, the Jane Lang Davis New Works Fund. Annual income from the invested fund will be used in perpetuity to provide support for one new ballet each season, and/or support the full breadth of PNB’s New Works initiative, including workshops for emerging artists.

Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen has announced the 2020-2021 season roster. A total of 60 dancers make up the Company roster, with 52 in the main company and 8 in Boston Ballet II (BBII), Boston Ballet's second company.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago today announced its 2020/21 43rd season, to include virtual presentations of new work by five acclaimed choreographers, all with ties to the company: Rena Butler, Jonathan Fredrickson, Penny Saunders, Robyn Mineko Williams and Connie Shiau.

The National Ballet of Canada mourns the passing of former dancer and Senior Ballet Mistress Joanne Nisbet. In her over 40-year career, Ms. Nisbet was instrumental to the success of the National Ballet and will be deeply missed by many.
