WGN America unveiled two new originals today, exhibiting the full spectrum of the beloved detective procedural genre: lighthearted detective comedy “Carter,” starring Jerry O'Connell (“Billions”), Sydney Poitier Heartsong (“Chicago P.D.”) and Kristian Bruun (“Orphan Black”), and crime drama “Gone,” starring Chris Noth (“Sex and the City,” “Law & Order,” “The Good Wife”), Leven Ramblin (The Hunger Games) and Danny Pino (“CSI: Miami”).

The Sarasota Film Festival (SFF) today announced its full line-up, including its Centerpiece, Spotlight, Narrative Feature Competition, Independent Visions Competition, Documentary Feature Competition, Narrative, Documentary, and Short Films. Dezart Performs has always aspired to quality rather than quantity in their productions, staging just three mainstage plays each season. I have never been disappointed with one of their shows, and it somehow seems that each new show tops all the ones that have preceded it. Rabbit Hole, the second production of their Gala Tenth Season, might just be the closest thing to a perfect production that I have seen in the Coachella Valley.

The RABBIT HOLE, the Pulitzer Prize-winning searing family drama, has inspired Michael Shaw, Dezart Performs' co-founder and Artistic Director, to trade the director's chair for a leading role in the second production of Dezart Performs' 10th season. RABBIT HOLE will run January 12-21, 2018 at the Pearl McManus theater in the historic Palm Springs Woman's Club for eight gripping performances. There will be an opening night party with the cast following the performance on Friday, January 12th.

Freddie, Ted and The Death of Joe Orton is about middle-aged Freddie, suffering from undiagnosed OCD, who owns the three-bedroom house which he shares with his younger lover, aspiring musician Ted.

Dezart Performs presents the Pulitzer Prize winning play RABBIT HOLE to the Pearl McManus theater in the historic Palm Springs Woman's Club for eight gripping performances, January 12-21, . There will be an opening night party with the cast following the performance on Friday, January 12th. This compelling Pulitzer Prize-winning play opened on Broadway in 2006 and was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Play. RABBIT HOLE was also adapted for a 2010 film starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart.
