The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts welcomes an assortment of shows, events and performances across all three theaters. 

'Writing Kevin Taylor' a new musical will debut at Meadow Brook Theatre.

Cabaret veteran, actress, singer, comedian and storyteller Sharon Ruben will bring her 'Broadway Journey through life' production, 2 Guys and a Doll Do Broadway to the Delray Beach Playhouse and the Mizner Park Cultural Center on November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Joining her on stage will be two of South Florida's top talents, actor/director Jonathan Van Dyke, and actor/cabaret artist Michael Scott Ross.

Straight from the New York Off-Broadway stage, The Winter Park Playhouse presents the professional Southeastern Regional premiere of the hilarious musical comedy hit, The Book of Merman, September 24 - October 17, 2021. 

Additional details have been announced for the one-night only, bi-coastal livestream jamfest Rock of Ages: All-Star Reunion Concert tomorrow night, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 8:00PM ET. All ticket purchasers will have the option of watching the concert live and/or on demand for an additional 24 hours through Monday, April 26.

The Winter Park Playhouse continues its live and recorded Spotlight cabaret performances with the exceptional comedic and vocal talent of professional performers, Adam Biner and Michael Scott Ross, in their new cabaret titled Whose Song Is It Anyway?  This rollicking new one-hour cabaret will be performed live with limited socially distanced seating at The Winter Park Playhouse on March 24 and 25, 2021. Playhouse Musical Director Christopher Leavy will accompany on piano. 

Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews with American workers, the musical Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women that the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the phone operator, the waitress, the mill-worker, the mason and the housewife, just to name a few. Nominated for six Tony Awards, this classic has been updated for a modern age.

The cast and crew of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum are deep into rehearsals and preparation for the show's November 23rd opening.  Forum, an MNM Theatre Company co-presentation with the Kravis Center, will run in the venue's Rinker Playhouse through December 8th.

The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts and MNM Theatre Company are pleased to announce that casting is complete for their upcoming co-production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, which will run from November 22 -  December 8 in the Kravis' Rinker Playhouse.

Meadow Brook Theatre is pleased to welcome guest director Benjamin Sterling Cannon to helm the story of the affluent, African-American LeVay family. The LeVays are gathering at their Martha's Vineyard home for the weekend, and brothers Kent and Flip have each brought their respective ladies home to meet the parents for the first time. As the two newcomers butt heads over issues of race and privilege, long-standing tensions bubble under the surface and reach a boiling point when secrets are revealed.    

Launching the new year with epic music, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) features renowned guest artists like Leila Josefowiczand Pinchas Zukerman; timeless masterpieces by Stravinsky, Mozart, Sibelius, and Wagner; and the anticipated presentation of Star Wars: A New Hope-In Concert.

The TSO invites audiences to discover new music performed by the Orchestra for the first time right before their ears! In an ongoing commitment to support the development of emerging Canadian composers and the creation of new orchestral works, and to give the public the opportunity to witness artistic creation first-hand, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) introduces Explore the Score. Marcie Gorman, Executive Producer & Artistic Director for MNM Theatre Company, today confirmed the casts for its next two major productions at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse: the witty I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and the sentimental favorite My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. Both shows will be directed by Dom Ruggiero with Caryl Fantel serving as music director.

Last week, the delightful show received "Recommended" status for the Carbonell Awards, South Florida's most prestigious award for professional theater. This prestigious status means that the show will be seen by Carbonell judges and is eligible for nominations.
