If you're wondering whether or not 2013 was a fantastic year for the cabaret art form in New York, all you have to do is scan the amazing list of nominees for this year's BroadwayWorld New York Cabaret Awards and you'll know it was one of the best ever. So now it's time for all you cabaret performers and fans to vote for the best singers, musicians, songs, and shows of the year. Voting will continue until Sunday night January 5 and the winners will be announced later that week. We hope that all the winners will be able to perform in the Award show on Sunday night February 23 at Joe's Pub.

INSPIRED: A Benefit Concert for the ASPCA of NYC and The Last Resort Rescue of NJ took place on September 22, 2013. The concert invited the audience into the hearts and minds of some of today's exciting musical theatre writers in a casual and intimate setting as they sit behind the piano and, unlike traditional concerts of their material, perform songs by other writers that have inspired their work. 'Exposed: Scott Evan Davis in Concert' will be presented tonight, May 19th at the Time Out Lounge at New World Stages. Joining singer-songwriter Davis for the 9PM concert will be the cast of 'Picture Perfect' including: Kim Grogg, Erik Sisco, Vicky Modica, Jamie Hartmann and Joshua Dixon.

Picture Perfect draws on new, original material as well as Davis's debut recording, Cautiously Optimistic: The Music of Scott Evan Davis, released in 2011 by Sonic Landscapes Music. He has assembled an exciting group of performers to interpret his compositions, staged in group and solo arrangements.

It's finally official! After almost two months of voting and the casting of more than 10,000 votes, we know the winners of the 20 categories in the first-ever BroadwayWorld.com New York Cabaret Awards. The biggest of the winners are Ann Hampton Callaway, Jim Caruso and Colleen McHugh, each taking two awards. Other notable winners include: Marilyn Maye, Michael Feinstein, Betty Buckley, Ben Vereen, Jason Robert Brown, Jane Monheit, and Billy Stritch. Many of these fantastic entertainers will be performing at the BroadwayWorld.com 2012 Cabaret Awards Show, which will be held at the Metropolitan Room on February 21, 2013 from 6:30-9PM.

Voting is now underway for the Inaugural Cabaret Awards and continues until December 31, 2012. Winners will be announced in early January.
