Producer Mark Cortale has announced the season finale of his series at The Herbst Theatre  - two time Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman will join Seth Rudetsky on Sunday, May 19th at 8:00 PM for one show only. In this unique series, music director and host Seth Rudetsky welcomes the greatest performers for up-close and personal conversations and singing. The format of the show will be a seamless mix of great comedy/singing by Silverman and hilarious conversation prompted by Rudetsky's funny, insightful and revealing questions. Live from Here with Chris Thile confirms the guest lineup for its performance in Los Angeles at The Wiltern on February 1 as well as shows in Durham, Chicago and Detroit. 1812 Productions kicks off 2019 with a red curtain comedy revue Broads, curated by Jennifer Childs and starring Joilet Harris, Mary Elizabeth Scallen, and Jess Conda. From Mae West to Moms Mabley and more, Broads features classic and original material and celebrates the bawdiest, brashest, and funniest ladies from the 1920s through the 1960s. According to Deadline, Eric Heisserer's short story titled SIMULTANEOUS is set to get  adapted by Hulu. The screenwriter is known for his work on ARRIVAL and BIRD BOX. Colby Day will pen this adaption. Read more about the news from Deadline here!

WBUR, Boston's NPR news station, and The New York Times, in partnership with the Huntington Theatre Company, are celebrating Valentine's Day with a special live performance of Modern Love: The Podcast. Hosted by Meghna Chakrabarti (host of Modern Love: The Podcast as well as NPR & WBUR's On Point) with Daniel Jones (editor of the NYT "Modern Love" column), the event will be a live recording of the hit podcast featuring three Modern Love essays read by top actors from stage and screen. It will also feature a live musical performance. Modern Love Live will take place on Sat., Feb. 16, 2019 at 8 p.m. at the Huntington Avenue Theatre, 264 Huntington Ave. Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday, Dec. 20. Prices start at $25.

Vevo has today revealed the biggest artists and official music videos of 2018. Globally, there has been over 260 billion video views to-date with an average of 24 billion views per month, and over 12 billion hours of content watched to-date. In the US, Vevo has seen nearly 50 billion video views to-date in 2018, with an average of 4.5 billion views per month, and over 2 billion hours of content watched.

Dynamic, award-winning solo-actress Pam Levin will launch 2019 with something that hasn't been done at Sherman Oaks, Whitefire Theatre Solofest 2019 (13500 Ventura Blvd. Sherman Oaks,91423). She will perform three plays on three different days. On January 16th, Levin brings back her original hit Tales of Modern Motherhood which she performed to sold out audiences off-Broadway, at the Santa Monica Playhouse and as the headline performance for last year's Solofest.

Today Hulu and Funimation, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Television (SPT), announced a multi-year partnership and output deal. The monumental deal marks Hulu's largest agreement for anime programming to date and will significantly expand its anime collection with new subtitled and dubbed titles from Funimation, the leading anime distributor, each year. With millions of hours of anime streamed over the past year, Hulu is streaming home to one of the most comprehensive collections of anime programming in the U.S.

The Actors' Gang production of APHRODITE'S HOLIDAY SHOW will begin Thursday, November 29th as part of The Actors' Gang 2018/19 Hellzapoppin' Season. APHRODITE'S HOLIDAY SHOW will perform every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, through December 16th.
