Joe's Pub Production of LIZA '79 Postpones

Producers Zach Laks, Sarah Galli, and Joseph Lucius in association with Form Theatricals announce that due to scheduling conflicts, the Joe's pub production of LIZA '79, conceived and directed by Ben Rimalower, starring Larry Owens is postponed.  Originally scheduled for performances in June, new dates and casting will be announced at a later date.

Born for Broadway has announced that its fifth annual celebrity cabaret, featuring Broadway and TV stars donating their time and talent, will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center, 129 W. 67th Street, on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 8 PM. Proceeds will benefit Unite 2 Fight Paralysis, a nonprofit that supports international advocacy, education, and spinal cord injury research.

GLEE's Jenna Ushkowitz is set to star in the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation's Born for Broadway Cabaret. As previously announced, Kathie Lee Gifford will host the event, which is to be held Monday, October 4th at 8:00 p.m. at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street, New York.
