MTV announced today it has picked up a new weekly late night comedy show, 'The Nikki and Sara Show,' hosted by acclaimed stand-up comedians Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer. Centering around the latest in pop culture, the series, set in MTV Studios in Times Square, will combine fast-paced jokes, celebrity interviews, pre-taped sketches, man-on-the-street pieces and more. Sara and Nikki will bring the fun-yet-sharp chemistry they honed on their popular podcast 'You Had To Be There,' and filter it through the lens of entertainment, celebrity, music and more. The series is expected to premiere later this year on MTV.
As first reported on TVGuide.com, MTV is set to launch a new late night series titled THE NIKKI AND SARA SHOW, starring comedians Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer.
