Comix NY Announces Upcoming Shows For 5/24-27

Comix NY has released new dates for performances including:

THE WRITERS OF “LATE NIGHT WITH Jimmy Fallon”
MON, MAY 24th @ 7:30 PM Attention Fallon fans!  Want to hear comedy straight from the people behind Jimmy’s jokes and segments?  Spend an early evening with the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” writers at Comix!
The lineup* includes Sara Schaefer, Morgan Murphy, Jon Friedman and more!
 
Tickets are $10 or $15 day of show, plus a two drink minimum purchase in the showroom. *Lineup subject to change.

COLIN KANE UNZIPPED
MON, MAY 24th @ 9:30 PM
Colin Kane: Unzipped is a new monthly showcase with the overtly honest and hysterical headliner Colin Kane, winner of Howard Stern’s “Kill or Be Killed” comedy competition and a semi-finalist in New York Comedy Festival’s “Funniest Stand-up” contest. Colin will also bring his favorite funny people to the stage each month! 
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day of show, plus a two drink minimum purchase in the showroom.
 

DAN ALLEN & RAY DEVITO – BEST OF SACAPUNTAS
WED, MAY 26TH @ 7:30PM 
In between acts, Dan and Ray present their best sketches, stories, and short videos, and for one night only, you can see all of their amazing work all at once!  Their stories will make you howl, their videos will make you chortle, and now you can see the interrupted genius of Sacapuntas!

Michelle Buteau & BRENT SULLIVAN
WED, MAY 26TH @ 9:30pm
Michelle Buteau’s bouncy, sunny appearance is betrayed by her devilish wit.  She has performed on Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and Paramount Comedy Network's The World Stands Up show.  She’s also been seen on Best Week Ever, Black to the Future, Walk of Shame, & Oxygen's Kiss & Tell series. 
 
Brent Sullivan is a walking oxymoron.  He has been described as wonderfully sarcastic, lovingly condescending and “gay – but not gay”, but that’s only half the story.  Brent has been seen on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and in his own ECNY-nominated one man show “Fag Life”.

SHANG & GODFREY HOSTED BY StEve Wilson
THUR, MAY 27th @ 7:30 PM

You know both of these comics by one name only, and for one night only, Shang and Godfrey will be spending an evening with Comix! StEve Wilson of KISS FM will host these two dynamic performers as they co-headline for the first time.

MATT MCCARTHY STAND UP COMEDY COMEDY SHOW
THUR, MAY 27th @ 9:30 PM

This is the beginning of a weird and beautiful friendship when Matt McCarthy starts his monthly show at Comix!  It’s the Matt McCarthy Stand Up Comedy Comedy Show!  Each month, Matt –you know, that guy from the Verizon commercial— will host some of his favorite comedians live from our stage.
 
Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of show, plus a two drink minimum purchase in the showroom.
