TV: Hangin' Backstage with the Winners of the 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards!

Winners for the 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards were announced just last night at The Town Hall. In keeping with Drama Desk's mission, nominators considered shows that opened on Broadway, Off Broadway and Off-Off Broadway during the 2017-2018 New York Theater season in the same competitive categories.

PARADISE BLUE Celebrates Final Two Weeks with Student Rush Tickets

Student rush tickets will be offered for the final two weeks of performances of the Signature Theatre production of Paradise Blue by Obie Award-winning playwright Dominique Morisseau and directed by Tony Award-winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson. Student rush tickets will be sold for $30 when the ground floor Box Office opens each day up until performance time. The tickets are only available for purchase in person at 480 West 42nd Street and are subject to availability. Limit two tickets per person. Valid student ID must be presented at the time of purchase.

Casting Announced For Joust Theatre Company's WRITER'S ROUND TABLE

Jose Luis Dominguez Named Artistic Director Of NJSO Youth Orchestras

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra has named Jose Luis Dominguez Artistic Director of the NJSO Youth Orchestras, signing him to a two-year contract that extends through the 2020 fiscal year a relationship that began in September 2017 when Dominguez was named Interim Artistic Director of the youth orchestras. This season, he has worked closely with NJSO Youth Orchestras artistic faculty and conducted two of its four ensembles, the Academy Orchestra and Training Ensemble.

Acclaimed Actor David Rainey Joins Mercury In The Theatrical Premiere Of FOUR SEASONS

Mercury brings the 2017-18 season to a close with 'Four Seasons', a dramatic staged production from the creative minds of Artistic Director Antoine Plante and musician/composer Denis Plante merging words, music and imagination. Well-known Houston actor David Rainey, resident member of The Alley Theatre and Artistic Director of The Landing Theatre Company, joins the orchestra in the lead role for the three-performance theatrical premiere at the Hobby Center's Zilkha Hall on Saturday, June 16th and Sunday, June 17th.
