The fifth production of the Cape Playhouse season arrives as Gypsy takes the stage, the second musical in the historic theatre's 91st season. Starring Julia Murney, Caroline Bowman, James Lloyd Reynolds, Tess Soltau and Garett Hawe, and directed by Michael Rader, Gypsy plays August 8-19. Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical The Music Man has arrived at the Cape Playhouse, a wonderful professional theater one can visit to see Broadway-quality productions right in the heart of Dennis, and has invited each and every one of us to join this miraculous parade that is considered "America's favorite family musical."

The University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Department of Theatre and Dance is staging DOGFIGHT. With an intimate setting, exceptional acting, and a well-designed production, anyone (who is old enough, comfortable with stage violence, has lungs that readily accept fog, and appreciates a good curse word) will enjoy the show.
