Today, December 3rd at 12 noon, friends and colleagues gathered in celebration of Tony-winning actress Julie Harris at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on 242 West 45th Street. Among those at the celebration were Zoe Caldwell, RoseMary Harris, Cherry Jones, Joan van Ark?, HAl Holbrook and Christopher Plummer.

There will be a memorial celebration of the actress, Julie Harris, today, Dec. 3rd, starting at 12 noon at the earnard B. Jacobs Theatre on 242 West 45th Street. One Hundred and Twenty-Five years ago this New Year's Eve, America's most celebrated actor, Edwin Booth gave the Deed of 16 Gramercy Park South to The Players. Shirley Herz, a legendary theatrical press agent, died on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. The cause was complications from a stroke suffered on July 18, said Sam Altman, a longtime friend.
