Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced the full cast joining Tony Award Winner Rosemary Harris as 'Eleanor Swan' in the New York premiere of Tom Stoppard's Indian Ink, directed by Carey Perloff.

Veteran actor Jim Dale has a long history with Roundabout Theatre Company. Starting with one of Roundabout's earliest successes, A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, Jim Dale has performed in five Roundabout productions over the last 30 years. In his brand new solo show, Just Jim Daleunder the direction of Tony winner Richard Maltby, Jr. (Fosse, Ain't Misbehavin'), Dale shares his passion for the stage as he recounts a lifetime of irresistible showbiz tales. The Theatre World Awards has announced the roster of presenters for the 70th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony that include DeAdre Aziza, Dylan Baker, Len Cariou, Tovah Feldshuh, Trent Kowalik, Jefferson Mays, John McMartin, and Zachary Quinto, with special performances by Mr. Cariou and Rob McClure, Monday evening, June 2, 2014 beginning at 7:45 p.m. at Circle in the Square (West 50th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue), home of the current Broadway revival of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill.

The 2014 Honorees for Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performance, the 6th Annual Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theater for an Outstanding Performance in a Broadway or Off-Broadway Production, and the John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, were announced today by the Theatre World. The winners will be celebrated at the 70th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony set Monday evening, June 2, 2014 beginning at 6:45 p.m. at Circle in the Square (West 50th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue), home of the current Broadway revival of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill.

Acclaimed Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons announced today a list of performers and speakers for its annual Spring Gala on Monday evening, May 5 at the event space 583 Park Avenue. Titled "IN THE BEGINNING," the evening will honor the theater company's Founding Artistic Director Bob Moss.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that PS Classics will record the cast album of VIOLET on April 7, 2014. This Original Broadway Cast Recording, a two-disc set, will be released on June 3. The production is currently playing at the American Airlines Theatre through August 10, 2014.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced Tony Award winner Rosemary Harris will play the role of 'Eleanor Swan' in the Off-Broadway premiere of Tom Stoppard's Indian Ink, directed by Carey Perloff. The production will begin performances on September 4 and open Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold & Miriam Steinberg Centre for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

The evening will be co-hosted by two of the company's alumni actors: two-time Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce (at PH in Richard Greenberg's The Maderati in 1987) and two-time Tony Award nominee, two-time Obie Award winner and 2012 Special Drama Desk Award winner Mary Testa (at PH in William Finn's In Trousers in 1979, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Lucky Stiff in 1988, Tom Donaghy's From Above in 1998/Obie Award and Kathleen Tolan's The Wax in 2000).

Hugh Whitemore's play, Pack of Lies, opening at The Adobe Theater tonight, January 10th. Experienced director Joann Danella has chosen this tense drama, based on real events, to launch our 2014 season. She has previously directed 14 shows at The Adobe ranging from comedy (Belles, The Odd Couple) to serious (Proof, The Day They Shot John Lennon) to downright scary (Scotland Road), and has also worked at other local theaters for 15 years. 'This play,' she says, 'will entertain and raise questions about the effect on ordinary people of national security issues, but also matters of personal loyalty, friendship and betrayal.'

After receiving critical acclaim and overwhelming demand by South Florida audiences, James Goldman's classic comic-drama, The Lion in Winter will extend performances thru January 12th at Palm Beach Dramaworks (201 Clematis Street). The production will play the following additional performances: Friday 1/10 at 8pm, Saturday 1/11 at 8pm and Sunday 1/12 at 2pm.
