National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced this year’s casting for the performances of Little Duende, Māyā, Private Gomer Jones, and TL;DR featured in the 33rd Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS. This year’s festival will be held on Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, 2021 and will be presented as a digital and in-person hybrid.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced this year’s directors and music directors for the 33rd Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which will be held on Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, 2021.

The evening of song and entertainment featured special guest composers and lyricists, Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis along with Robert Rokicki, and a roster of distinguished Argyle alumni who have appeared in productions during the first two seasons that include Gina Naomi Baez, Courtney Balan, Inga Ballard, Tiffan Borelli, Elizabeth Broadhurst, Hunter Brown, Todd Buonopane, Eddie Egan, Corrie Farbstein, Katy Geraghty, Kimberly Immanuel, Robert Anthony Jones, Jillian Louis, Warren Nolan, Jr., Jason Simon, Ryan Gregory Thurman, and Rose Van Dyne.

In The Margin (ITM) and Juvenilia produce a play, Cabin 12, by utilizing Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Cabin 12 is written and directed by: Aurelia Grierson. This production will be part of the Fresno Rogue Festival.

On Sunday, March 7th, Musical Theatre Factory presents a one-night-only event starring musical theatre writing team, Melissa Li and Kit Yan.

Underscore Theatre Company is offering UNDERSCORE DEVELOPS, a new initiative as part of its readings and workshop development series. While in-person productions are not possible, Underscore continues its mission to support writers by offering new musicals in progress the opportunity to explore the development process virtually.

'Masks & Musicals: Broadway Karaoke' debuted Tuesday night to socially distanced crowd in Manhattan. The event lets people sing show tunes with a live pianist.

Out of the Box Theatrics will present Nocturne and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown on Zoom this July 2020. A portion of ticket sales will go to Campaign Zero, the comprehensive platform of research-based policy solutions to end police brutality in America.

Mixed Blood Theatre will premiere the new musical Interstate as the headliner of its 44th season.
