The Award Honorees were announced today for the Seventh Annual LA Femme Film Festival 2011,October 13-16, 2011.

Sir Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono & Sean Lennon, Olivia & Dhani Harrison, Sir George & Giles Martin, along with Cirque du Soleil President & CEO Daniel Lamarre, LOVE Director Dominic Champagne and Artistic Guide Gilles St-Croix, joined celebrity friends and family at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for the 5th Anniversary celebration of The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil.

The five-time Tony-nominated production of '33 Variations,' with Jane Fonda, opened February 9, 2011, at 8 p.m. at the CTG/Ahmanson Theatre. Written and directed by Moisés Kaufman, performances continue through March 6 for this compelling new piece.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi will receive The Wyler Award, one of The Humane Society of the United States' most prestigious honors, at The 23rd Genesis Awards on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. Given to a celebrity or public figure who has made news on behalf of animals, the award is named after the late Genesis Awards founder Gretchen Wyler, the Broadway headliner and animal activist. 'Ellen and Portia stand up for their beliefs, and they have had a major impact in spreading the message about animal protection,' said Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of The Humane Society of the United States. 'They had a particularly significant role in helping to pass Proposition 2, and they helped make the case to the people of California and to the rest of the nation that all animals deserve humane treatment, including animals raised for food.'

Award-winning actress Debra Winger, best known for her film roles in movies such as An Officer and a Gentleman and Terms of Endearment, as well as her decision to turn her back on acting at the height of her career, will talk about her life and career at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) on Monday, June 15 at 8 p.m.

Emma Williams has been confirmed as the star of the upcoming West End musical Desperately Seeking Susan
