The Exorcist opened last night, July 11, in the Gil Cates Theater at the Geffen Playhouse and runs through August, 12, 2012, starring Brooke Shields, Richard Chamberlain, David Wilson Barnes, Emily Yetter, and more. Check out the opening night party in the photos below!

Julia Stiles stars in a new series, BLUE which is premiering now on the YouTube Channel, WIGS (www.youtube.com/wigs). In the series, Stiles stars as the title character, a single mom trying to protect her son from the consequences of her secret career.

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and Howard & Janet Kagan have announced that three-time Academy Award nominee Debra Winger will be making her Broadway debut in the American premiere of THE ANARCHIST, a new play written and directed by David Mamet. Winger's previous stage credits include How I Learned to Drive and Ivanov at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts and The Exonerated in New York.

Jennifer Garner and Alfred Molina star in SERENA, a short film written and directed by Rodrigo Garcia, a co-founder of WIGS along with Jon Avnet and Jake Avnet. Garner plays Serena, a woman who makes a series of shocking confessions to her Priest (Molina).

Today, award-winning filmmakers Jon Avnet ('Black Swan,' 'Fried Green Tomatoes,' 'Risky Business') and Rodrigo Garcia ('Albert Nobbs,' 'In Treatment,' 'Mother and Child') launch 'Jan,' the first WIGS series from a comprehensive slate of new, original programming.The digital channel's premiere series, 'Jan,' is written and directed by Jon Avnet. The series stars Caitlin Gerard ('The Social Network'), Virginia Madsen ('Sideways'), Stephen Moyer ('True Blood'), along with Alexandra Holden ('Friday Night Lights'), Jaime Murray ('Dexter,' 'Spartacus'), Kyle Gallner ('A Nightmare on Elm Street'), Iddo Goldberg ('Diary of a Call Girl,' 'Uprising'), Laura Spencer, Dorothy Davis, Allison McAtee, Andrea De Oliveira, John Ales, and Cass Castelow. Barbra Streisand and Robert Barth was honored by the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors at their annual Gala on Tuesday, November 8th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Proceeds from the Gala, sponsored by Lexus, will benefit the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. Lexus will donate a 2012 Lexus LS 600h L Luxury Hybrid sedan to be raffled off during the Gala. The Gala was hosted by Seth Rogen, and included a performance by Marvin Hamlisch.

The Adrienne Shelly Foundation (ASF), a non-profit organization dedicated to the memory of adored writer, director and actor Adrienne Shelly, is hosting its 4th annual celebrity eBay auction, which kicked-off on the 5th anniversary of Shelly's passing, November 1, and will run through November 10.
