McNamara has a new project in the works called THE TROUBLE WITH BILLY, which turns the trials of his modern life into fodder for a part reality, part fictional 'adventure' in West Hollywood. Among the cast and crew already on board at pre-production is Matthew Ziff, a talented young actor whose career is on the cusp of breaking through in a big way.

HBO has officially picked up a comedy pilot from GIRLS scribe Bruce Eric Kaplan, the network announced today. The pilot, PEOPLE IN NEW JERSEY, follows two siblings living just south of New York, who desperately attempt to get through life on a day-by-day basis. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's Lorne Michaels will produce alongside acclaimed director Jason Reitman and Kaplan.

The West Coast Premiere of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, officially opened September 12 at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and Howard & Janet Kagan have announced that three-time Academy Award nominee Debra Winger will be making her Broadway debut in the American premiere of THE ANARCHIST, a new play written and directed by David Mamet. Winger's previous stage credits include How I Learned to Drive and Ivanov at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts and The Exonerated in New York.

Jennifer Garner and Alfred Molina star in SERENA, a short film written and directed by Rodrigo Garcia, a co-founder of WIGS along with Jon Avnet and Jake Avnet. Garner plays Serena, a woman who makes a series of shocking confessions to her Priest (Molina).

Barbra Streisand and Robert Barth was honored by the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors at their annual Gala on Tuesday, November 8th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Proceeds from the Gala, sponsored by Lexus, will benefit the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. Lexus will donate a 2012 Lexus LS 600h L Luxury Hybrid sedan to be raffled off during the Gala. The Gala was hosted by Seth Rogen, and included a performance by Marvin Hamlisch.

The Adrienne Shelly Foundation (ASF), a non-profit organization dedicated to the memory of adored writer, director and actor Adrienne Shelly, is hosting its 4th annual celebrity eBay auction, which kicked-off on the 5th anniversary of Shelly's passing, November 1, and will run through November 10.
