This year’s Fertile Ground Festival started last Friday. As in years past, I’ll be posting short reviews of everything I see. Here’s the first set.

Peter is afraid of everything, and when you're afraid of your own shadow, a wolf can be absolutely terrifying!  While Peter learns you can't be brave if you are not afraid, the only question is:  How brave will Peter be?  Inspired by music from one of Sergei Prokofiev's most famous works, this play will make memories for young and old alike.

Ichabod Crane has come to Sleepy Hollow to teach, but what he learns there nearly frightens him out of his wits!  Watch as Ichabod learns of the legend of Sleepy Hollow and tries to escape the clutches of the Headless Horseman.

The Shoemaker is not very good at making shoes.  Along come a couple of elves and help him to make the best shoes around, but why?  Only one way to find out:  Come see the show and help the Shoemaker find the answer to the mystery of the magnificent shoes!

'The Odd Couple (Female Version),' written by Neil Simon and directed by Edith Weiss, is the eighth annual summer theater fundraiser for Senior Housing Options (SHO), a non-profit organization providing quality affordable housing and services for 500 adults in Colorado.  The production is SHO's major -- and only -- annual fundraiser and builds on the success of past runs such as 'On Golden Pond' (2014), 'Steel Magnolias' (2013), and 'Driving Miss Daisy' (2012).
