Drawing on traditional Brazilian bossa nova rhythms, Ms. Areias performs a distinctive style of Latin Jazz which has made her a hit down under. She will be joined by a Brazilian jazz ensemble which includes Oriente Lopez on piano, Jorge Continentino on flute and sax, Itaiguara Brandão on bass, and Samuel Martinelle on drums.
