XL Nightclub will be premiering their new weekly show CURTAINS UP with nightlife host Marti Gould Cummings beginning tonight, August 6th. The show will begin with an old fashioned musical theatre sing along and happy hour at 7PM followed by live performances by Cummings and a new weekly guest at 9PM. The concert is a free event.

Las Vegas residents William Waldrop and Robert Williamson will present an afternoon concert at the Clark County Flamingo Library Theater on August 8, 2010 at 1:30 PM, with a silent auction and reception beginning at 12 PM. The concert is presented by SinCityQSocials, Las Vegas' Premiere LGBT Social Network, and will utilize actors and musicians from Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular. Whatsonstage.com is reporting that Dame Judi Dench will be donating the replica of the Rose Theatre used in the 1998 Oscar-winning film Shakespeare In Love (for which the Dame herself received a trophy), gifted to her by the film's producers.
