THE DIRTY SHOW Turns 18 with David Cerny

At 18, the venerable Motor City Alt-Art event The Dirty Show, has featured world renown erotic artists many times before, but this year the Special Guest Artist happens to be one of Europe's best known public artists, David Cerny, who is an agent provocateur of the highest order.

The Chicago Humanities Festival is moving full speed ahead towards the 27th annual Fallfest, releasing its full line-up of events. Fallfest/16: Speed will feature more than 100 events by prominent artists, authors, historians, scientists, and cultural commentators including Dan Savage, Maureen Dowd, Trevor Noah, and Jonathan Lethem.

THE WAREHOUSE Film Hosts Launch Benefit at The Underground Tonight

The Warehouse is produced by Bob Teitel (Men of Honor, Barber Shop), Billy Dec (Rockit Ranch/Elston Films), Randy Crumpton (The Truth) and Joe Shanahan (Metro/Smartbar/Double Door), who will appear tonight, March 31 at 6 p.m. at the launch party and Frankie Knuckles Foundation (FKF) Benefit at The Underground (56 W. Illinois St). 100 percent of ticket proceeds to benefit the FKF.

BWW Reviews: Emerald Company Chases the Rainbow in STANDING ON CEREMONY

The Emerald Theatre Company at Theatre Works is currently showcasing not one, not two, not three - but nine pieces in its latest production, STANDING ON CEREMONY: THE GAY MARRIAGE PLAYS. This modest, meaningful series of vignettes - some, extremely funny; some, sad in the extreme; all, worth seeing - deserves a bit of attention. No matter where you stand on the issue of gay marriage, these enjoyable little playlets tug on your sensibilities and ultimately have a point and purpose. A number of writers have contributed to the piece - Paul Rudnick, Moises Kaufman, Neil LaBute, and others.

New Film THE WAREHOUSE, Celebrating Frankie Knuckles, to Shoot in Chicago

A new feature film, THE WAREHOUSE, will celebrate the Godfather of House Music, GRAMMY Award-winning Frankie Knuckles (1955-2014) and Chicago's legendary Warehouse afterhours club, where the internationally recognized House Music genre was born.
