Craving a fun musical comedy to sweep you up in action and keep you laughing all the way home? This Tony-Award winning story of six quirky characters and three oddball adults in search of spelling bee glory is the show for you. Welcome to Putnam County...and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, opening Friday, November 4th at the Burton Leavitt Theatre. Music and lyrics are by William Finn, Book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman and additional material by Jay Reiss.

In this hilarious, poignant, wacky romp of a musical set in a small town spelling bee, this motley crew of characters learn that winning isn't everything and losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. The words are outrageous, the competition intense and an evening at the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a D-E-L-I-G-H-T!! Some content may not be suitable for children.

Under the direction of Pam Pellegrine and music direction of Ken Clark, this outstanding cast includes Anna Armagno, Kelly Bourque, Bill Emerson, Kaitie Hartman, Brandon Nichols, Chantel Potvin, Rafael Sierra, Jr, Corey Welden and RoBert Williams.
