Skylight Music Theatre announced the cast and creative team for the professional world premiere of A ROCKIN’ MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, set to open in 2026. The show promises to offer a fresh take on the traditional play, blending classic literature with contemporary music and staging.

Author Ruby Preston returns with 'STAGED,' the sequel to the popular Broadway read 'SHOWBIZ,' exposing all the euphoria, heartbreak, and hijinks of the business of Broadway. Released by Dress Circle Publishing - the premier publisher of theater-themed novels - 'STAGED' will be available for purchase on Kindle and in paperback at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks, following its official release March 12, 2013.

This week, the New London Maritime Society launches its 2012 Annual Fund. In anticipation of 2013, the Society's 30th--Pearl--Anniversary, the Society selected an ambitions fundraising goal of $30,000. Last year's equally ambitious goal of $25,000 was, in fact, surpassed, with contributions totaling more than $27,000.
