Tulsa Opera is pleased to welcome Carlisle Floyd, one of the foremost American opera composers and librettists, to Tulsa for the upcoming Oklahoma premiere of his opera Of Mice & Men, based on John Steinbeck's iconic novel. While in Tulsa, Mr. Floyd will attend opening night of Tulsa Opera's production of Of Mice & Men tonight, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

The Eagle will launch their new Theatre for Young Audiences Series on Wednesday, March 4 @ 10AM, opening with Treasure Island, written by Robert Louis Stevenson, adapted for the Stage by Mike Kenny. Each series will feature professional actors starring in enlightened, educational and fun world-class entertainment for all ages. Several schools surrounding the Delaware Valley scheduled a class trip to visit the Eagle to experience live theatre for the first time. Due to popular demand a special weekend performance has been added for the general public on Saturday, March 7th @ 11AM & 3PM.

The best of live theatre can now be experienced on the big screen of The Ware Center. The theatrical productions Of Mice and Men on Broadway and London's Treasure Island kick off the partnership with the National Theatre's groundbreaking project National Theatre Live, which films and broadcasts live stage productions in filmic quality and detail. The only place in Lancaster County showing these productions is Steinman Hall at The Ware Center, located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster. More films will be added in the Spring.
