January 8 - February 14, 2016 Scheherazade's cliffhanger stories prevent her husband, the cruel Shahryar, from taking her life. After 1,001 nights Shahryar is cured of his madness and Scheherazade is allowed to return to her family. This adaptation offers a wonderful blend of the lesser-known tales from Arabian Nights with the recurring theme of how the magic of storytelling holds the power to change people.

March 18 - April 10, 2016 Lakota visionary and healer, Nicholas Black Elk, grew up during the closing decades of the 19th century when white settlers were invading the homeland of the Lakota Sioux, decimating buffalo herds and threatening to extinguish the tribe's way of life.
