When you think of SOUTH PARK and its no-holds-barred, foul-mouthed humor, you don't tend to think of stories of faith and hope. But, when writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone (along with Robert Lopez of AVENUE Q and FROZEN fame) got together to write a musical based on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (better known as Mormons), that's exactly what resulted. THE BOOK OF MORMON is a satirical masterpiece - and it has become a Broadway sensation.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played sold-out and record-breaking engagements in 2014 and 2015 and won nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour. The lottery begins Today, December 20, 2016 at the Winspear Opera House in the Dallas Arts District and plays a limited two-week engagement through Sunday, December 31, 2016. 

Due to another holiday season of sold-out houses, New Conservatory Theatre Center has extended its award-winning production of everyone's favorite foul-mouthed, feel-good musical: Avenue Q, with music, lyrics and original concept by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and book by Jeff Whitty.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that Paulette Haupt, founding Artistic Director of its National Music Theater Conference, will step down following the 2017 season, after 40 years leading the program. The program began in 1978 after George C. White, founder of the O'Neill, invited Ms. Haupt to launch a new development program for music theater, in a similar mold to the O'Neill's groundbreaking National Playwrights Conference, launched in 1964.
