BEING MARY TYLER MOORE Documentary to Premiere on HBO in May

Lending their voices to the film are family members, colleagues and those whose lives Mary Tyler Moore impacted including directors Rob Reiner, Michael Lindsay-Hogg, and Jim Burrows, actors Ed Asner, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lena Waithe, Phylicia Rashad, Bernadette Peters, and Joel Grey, writers and producers Allan Burns, Norman Lear, and more.

John Lithgow to Co-Star in THE OLD MAN on FX

Deadline reports that John Lithgow will star in FX's 'The Old Man' opposite Jeff Bridges. Jon Watts, famous for directing Marvel's most recent 'Spider-Man' films, will direct the pilot. 

FX Orders Drama THE OLD MAN Starring Jeff Bridges

FX has ordered The Old Man, a drama starring Jeff Bridges as a retired CIA officer, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Gina Balian, Presidents, Original Programming, FX Entertainment.

Orchestra Of St. Luke's Announces 2018-19 Carnegie Hall Season

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) 2018-2019 Subscription Series presented by Carnegie Hall, will open on October 25, 2018, with Bernard Labadie on the podium for his official debut as Principal Conductor of the Orchestra. Works of Haydn are the thematic thread to this 32nd Carnegie Hall subscription season and the three programs will also feature works by younger contemporaries and 20th-century composers he influenced. The program, for the first of three concerts, pairs two great masterworks of the choral repertoire, Haydn's Mass in D Minor, Hob. XXII: 11, 'Nelson Mass,' and Mozart's Requiem, K. 626.La Chapelle de Quebec, the choir founded and directed by Maestro Labadie, makes its first appearance with OSL, joined by guest soloists German tenor Lothar Odinius, French-Canadian bass-baritone Philippe Sly, and acclaimed American mezzo-soprano Susan Graham.

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported last week, Tony Award winner Mary Tyler Moore - best known as a television icon for The Mary Tyler Moore Show- passed away at 80 years old. According to her publicist, she was with her husband and friends at the time of her passing.
