BWW Preview Steel Magnolias now playing at Albuquerque Little Theatre

OPPA! in Layton Utah opens the acclaimed play Steel Magnolias May 10th with shows running through May 19th.

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce its 2018-2019 Season, which begins the company's third decade of producing nationally-recognized, professional theatre in the Fort Myers River District. Set to open Sept. 21 and run to May 5 in the Historic Arcade Theatre and ArtStage Studio Theatre, the nine-show season includes two musicals, multiple comedies, a modern American classic, a southeastern United States premiere, and a world-premiere adaptation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."

Geva Theatre Center's Wilson Stage Season 2017-2018 concludes with Steel Magnolias, by Robert Harling and directed by Skip Greer, in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from May 8 through June 3.

Such is the case with Robert Harling's Steel Magnolias, which debuted in 1987 to near unanimous acclaim only to gain in popularity and adulation in the intervening three decades. Whether it's a feature film, a made-for-TV movie or live onstage, Harling's tale of six Louisiana women and their shared experiences captured in a series of snapshots from their lives is beloved and somewhat revered.

Southwest Reprise Theatre Company is producing Robert Harling's beloved play 'Steel Magnolias' at its space in southwest Fort Worth. The four performances will take place at 7:30 p.m., Friday-Saturday, April 20-21 and April 27-28 at Trinity Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 7120 W. Cleburne Rd., Fort Worth. James T. Geva Theatre Center announces that Eve Plumb, best remembered as Jan Brady in "The Brady Bunch" will play the role of 'Clairee' in Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, the closing production of Geva's 45th ESL / Rochester Regional Health Wilson Stage Season.

The red carpet was full of beauty and style at the Opening Night of Steel Magnolias at Theatre at the Center on Sunday, February 25.  Cory Goodrich, in the role of M'Lynn, Landree Fleming, as Shelby, and Heidi Kettenring as Truvy, lead the cast of Theatre at the Center's Steel Magnolias with Joslyn Yvonne Jones as Ouiser, Jeannie Affelder as Clairee and Myesha-Tiara as Annelle.  The show continues through March 25.

Michael Rader, Artistic Director of The Cape Playhouse, today announced the creative teams for the 2018 summer season. Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 85th season with Steel Magnolias, written by Robert Harling and directed by Ellyn Essig.
