The New York Choral Society produces six Summer Sings that feature the most popular masterworks of the choral literature. The 54th annual Summer Sings takes place on consecutive Wednesdays at 7:30pm from July 23rd through August 27th at Symphony Space in the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street, New York, For these Summer Sings, six prominent choral conductors from the New York area will lead audience members to sing through these popular works.

This summer marks the 52nd annual Summer Sing Program. Each summer, the New York Choral Society produces a Summer Sings series that features the most popular masterworks of the choral literature. Taking place every Wednesday at 7:30pm from tonight, July 25th - August 29th at Symphony Space in the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street, New York, six prominent choral conductors from the New York area will lead audience members to sing through these popular works. The New York Choral Society will celebrate its 53rd Anniversary with a Spring Gala on March 29 at The National Arts Club. Music DirectorJohn Daly Goodwin will be honored for his 25th anniversary and final season with the New York Choral Society with the Outstanding Leadership Award and joined by friends and patrons in honoring Laura R. Walker, who will be presented with the Distinguished Service to Music Award.

New York Choral Society (NYCS) will close its? 52nd season with a performance of Antonín Dvo?ák?s powerful Stabat Mater on May 1, commemorating the death of the great composer on May 1,1904. The performance will feature acclaimed soprano Angela Meade, mezzo-soprano Tamara Mumford, tenor Yeghishe Manucharyan and bass-baritone Burak Bigili accompanied by the Brooklyn Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall at 2pm.

The esteemed chorus performs under the baton of NYCS Music Director John Daly Goodwin, alongside soprano Joyce El-Khoury, mezzo-soprano Marjorie Dix, tenor Michele Angelini and bass Brian Kontes.
