Greenway Arts Alliance has been in the business of entertaining, educating, and giving back in L.A.'s Fairfax district for going on 20 years now. Their very effective, artistic three-prong mechanism of choice include: Greenway's Melrose Trading Post, Greenway Court Theatre and Greenway's Institute for the Arts. We had the opportunity to chat with the two co-founders and current co-artistic directors of GAA, Whitney Weston and Pierson Blaetz.

Greenway Arts Alliance (GAA), under the direction of Co-Founders Whitney Weston and Pierson Blaetz, kick-off their 20th Anniversary celebration with a musical tribute brunch honoring Greenway community partners and Market Mash, a pop-up festival for Melrose Trading Post shoppers and visitors. The events will be held at Melrose Trading Post, on the campus of Fairfax High School on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

Nonprofit Greenway Arts Alliance (GAA), under the direction of Co-Founders Whitney Weston and Pierson Blaetz, will celebrate its 20th Anniversary of uniting communities through art, education and social enterprise on October 8, 2017. GAA, a community leader and role model in social enterprise, runs the Greenway Court Theatre (a professional 99-seat theater), the Greenway Institute for the Arts (an arts education program at Fairfax High School, Title 1 high school in Los Angeles) and the Melrose Trading Post (a weekly open-air arts based marketplace). An all-day community celebration of Greenway Arts Alliance's 20th Anniversary will take place at the world famous Melrose Trading Post on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Broadway In Chicago has announced that I LOVE LUCY LIVE ON STAGE, the hit stage show adapted from the most beloved program in television history, which is produced under license from CBS Consumer Products, will return to Chicago by popular demand during its 2014-15 National Tour. The production, which began with extended sit-down productions in Los Angeles and Chicago and became an audience favorite across the country, will play the Bank of America Theatre (18 W Monroe) tonight, Dec. 9 through Dec. 14, 2014.
