AVENUE Q will soon hit another milestone! With this Sunday's (November 15th 7:30pm) performance of the Tony Award-winning musical of AVENUE Q in NYC, the beloved, critically-acclaimed show will make history -- again! -- when it plays its 2,534th performance at New World Stages (340 W. 50 St.), matching the number of performances AVENUE Q ran at the Golden Theatre, where the musical played for 6.5 years before transferring to New World Stages.

The long-running Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q celebrates its 11th anniversary in New York tonight, July 31 at 8 p.m. with a special interactive social media performance - THE INTERNET IS FOR Q! - at New World Stages (340 W. 50 St.), at which all audience members will be invited to post their experiences during the show on their mobile phones via Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Members of the creative team and former cast members are expected to attend - and tweet - the performance, as well, and the evening's events will include surprise twists live from the stage.
