Last Night, March 7, stars from all over the world came out for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards Ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood California. 'The Hurt Locker' won Best Picture and the film's director Kathryn Bigelow took home the award for Best Director. Jeff Bridges took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his work in 'Crazy Heart', Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for 'The Blind Side', Christoph Waltz took home Best Supporting Actor for 'Inglourious Basterds' and Mo'Niqe garnered the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'Precious'.

Tonight, March 7, stars from all over the world will come out for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards Ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood California. Co-hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, the ceremony will be broadcast live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. PT/ 8 p.m. ET. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards were handed out tonight, Sunday, February 21, 2010. 'The Hurt Locker' swept the awards picking up the honors of Best Director, Original Screenplay and Film, and also winning for Editing, Sound and Cinematography. Colin Firth picked up a Best Actor BAFTA award for his work in 'A Single Man' while Christoph Waltz won in the category of Best Supporting Actor for 'Inglourious Basterds.'

Last night, February 13, at a black-tie ceremony, the Art Directors Guild (ADG) announced the winners of its 14th Annual Excellence in 2009 Production Design Awards in nine categories of film, television, commercials and music videos. Founded in 1975, The Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) is comprised of Los Angeles-based, professional film critics working in the Los Angeles print and electronic media. Each December, LAFCA members vote on the year's Achievement Awards, honoring screen excellence on both sides of the camera. Plaques of recognition are then presented to winners during LAFCA's annual awards ceremony, held in mid-January.
