Having only ever seen an amateur production of a Gilbert and Sullivan piece, I was very much looking forward to seeing The Scottish Opera and D'Oyly Carte production at the Bristol Hippodrome.
A new production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado, updated to the 1930s, will be seen at the English National Opera for 12 performances from February 3rd through March 3rd
