At a star-studded ceremony tonight, the winners of the 2014 Sydney Theatre Awards were announced, with a record 33 Awards presented. Over 340 members of the Sydney theatre community packed the auditorium at Paddington RSL to celebrate the best of Sydney theatre throughout the past calendar year.

The fast paced, witty interpretation starring Richard Roxburgh, as the soldier poet with the unfortunate nose, Cyrano De Bergerac, had the audience roaring with laughter at the clever dialogue and moved with emotion at the unfolding love story.

In the Season Premiere of HELL'S KITCHEN, Chef Ramsay splits the latest batch of 20 aspiring restaurateurs into two teams, men vs. women, and asks them to present their signature dishes. The winning team gets treated to an exclusive dinner with Ramsay, while the losing team is left behind to scrub down the kitchen.

Following a hugely acclaimed and record-breaking sell out run at Hampstead Theatre, Neil Armfield's production of David Hare's The Judas Kiss just transferred to the West End. The cast features Rupert Everett and Freddie Fox in the lead roles of Oscar Wilde and Lord AlFred Douglas, performances which won them universal acclaim, they are joined by Cal Macaninch in the role of Robert Ross. The cast also includes Ben Hardy, Kirsty Oswald, Alister Cameron and Tom Colley.

Kicking off its drama pilot orders, FOX Broadcasting Company (FOX) has given a pilot order to RAKE, a character-driven comedic drama by Peter Duncan (creator of the original Australian series) and executive-produced by Peter Tolan ('Rescue Me,' 'Analyze This') and Michael Wimer ('2012'). Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear ('Little Miss Sunshine,' 'The Kennedys') has been cast in the lead role of KEEGAN JOYE, a brilliant, but self-destructive criminal defense lawyer. Kinnear also will co-executive-produce.

Cate Blanchett and legendary French actor Isabelle Huppert will play murderous sisters directed by Benedict Andrews in a fresh exploration of Genet's The Maids by Andrew Upton and Benedict Andrews. Richard Roxburgh and Hugo Weaving are reunited with Uncle Vanya director Tamas Ascher to give their all for a cornerstone of 20th century theatre, Beckett's Waiting for Godot; and Tim Minchin and Toby Schmitz take on another of theatre's great double acts directed by Simon Phillips in Stoppard's comic masterpiece Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.
