The premiere of the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS on Wednesday, June 9 scored with 3.04 million total viewers, making it the most-watched awards premiere in channel history. According to Nielsen Media Research, the two-and-a-half hour show scored a 1.42 rating among P18-49, up 19 percent over last year with an average 1.5 million viewers in the key demo. The show's performance from 8-10:30 p.m. drove CMT to become the most-watched network in the time period across cable with P18-49 and W18-49 impressions. More than 10.8 million viewers cumulative* tuned in for all related CMT Music Awards programming, including the live Red Carpet show and encore.

HISTORY(TM) today announced that a U.S. version of Top Gear, the award-winning BBC series will begin production today. The 10-episode series is being made by BBC Worldwide Productions and showcases an offbeat celebration of automobiles and driving. Premiering fall 2010 on HISTORY, the show will be hosted by comedian Adam Ferrara, champion rally and drift racer Tanner Foust and racing analyst Rutledge Wood. 'Monty Python's Spamalot,' the popular musical lovingly ripped-off from the internationally famous comedy team's most popular motion picture, 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail,' will open Center Theatre Group's 2009-2010 at the Ahmanson Theatre of the Los Angeles Music Center, July 7 through September 6, 2009, it was announced today by CTG Artistic Director Michael Ritchie.
The Ahmanson production marks the first time the international hit comedy will be presented in Los Angeles.
John O'Hurley will star as King Arthur.
